AgileTV has successfully wrapped up its participation at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, following four days of conversations with customers, partners and industry professionals around the future of TV and streaming.
The event provided an opportunity to showcase AgileTV’s latest solutions across four key areas: unified TV experiences, smart operations, content protection and delivery, and TV solutions for hotels and hospitals. Discussions throughout the show reflected the continued focus across the industry on making TV services more efficient to operate, easier to scale and more adaptable to changing customer and business requirements.
A particular highlight of this year’s event was the recognition AgileTV received through two industry awards.
The AgileTV Platform was named winner of the CSI Award for Best TV App, recognising a deployment delivered on a demanding timeline that combined fast time to market with a feature-rich and user-friendly TV experience. The award also highlighted the strong customer satisfaction achieved from the outset.
AgileTV also received a TVBEurope Best of Show Award for MerAIdian, the company’s AI-powered QA Automation Hub. The recognition highlights MerAIdian’s use of AI and automation to streamline QA workflows, improve operational efficiency and help teams identify and resolve issues faster across TV services.
Beyond the awards, IBC 2026 provided a valuable forum for discussions around some of the key challenges and opportunities shaping the TV industry. AI and automation were prominent topics, particularly in relation to streaming operations, quality assurance and the move from experimentation towards practical, production-scale applications.
Other recurring themes included the development of more unified and personalised TV experiences across screens, smarter content delivery and CDN orchestration, content protection and anti-piracy measures, and the growing interest among telcos in extending their TV capabilities into B2B markets such as hospitality and healthcare.
AgileTV also contributed to the wider industry discussion through a panel on “Rethinking Streaming Operations”, where Chief Commercial Officer Dominik Brueck joined industry peers to discuss the role of AI in streaming operations and the practical considerations involved in moving AI solutions into production environments.
With a strong presence at the show and a steady flow of conversations throughout the event, IBC 2026 provided an opportunity for AgileTV to engage with the industry, exchange perspectives and demonstrate how its TVaaS approach can support operators as their services and operational requirements evolve.
The company would like to thank everyone who visited the AgileTV booth, took part in discussions and contributed to another successful edition of IBC.
The two awards, together with the conversations and connections made throughout the event, marked a positive conclusion to AgileTV’s participation at IBC 2026.
